Timeline
=========

**Goal:** you display scheduled activities in the browser as a time
scale — for a user, several users, a client, a portfolio, or a single
project.

The module displays activities on a time scale in the browser window
and delivers the current state of scheduled activities on every
access.

**Functions**

- **User timeline** shows all of the user's activities across projects, per client.
- **Timeline of subordinate users** shows all activities of subordinate users (based on the administration organization chart) across projects, per client.
- **Client timeline** shows all of the client's activities across all projects.
- **Portfolio timeline** includes all activities of a project portfolio.
- **Project timeline** provides all activities of a project.

Step by step
------------

1. Click the **Timeline** button.

2. Select one of the tabs — as described in the functions, five
   different timeline types are available.

You see the timeline list. Move the mouse over a speech bubble to see
information about projects and employees.
